 Eric Myers is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate. Eric also holds a Purple Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, 5th Degree Black Belt in Nihon-Ryu Jujutsu, 3rd Degree Black Belt in Aikijutsu, and Instructor Level in Kobujutsu (Okinawan & Japanese Weaponry). Eric studied under Carlson Gracie Jr. for two years receiving his Blue Belt from him and his Late Father Carlson Gracie in 2001. Eric studied under Royce Gracie from 2002-2005 achieving 3rd level Blue belt, and is currently a personal student of 7th degree Black & Red Belt Pedro Sauer. Eric was also a member of Juko-Kai Intl for 10 years achieving the status of Kyoju (Professor), and earning rank in various traditional martial arts of the Samurai Culture. Eric competed in his youth from 1979-1990’s in many Karate tournaments winning numerous 1st places in Forms, Sparring, and Weapon Forms in Freestyle as well as Traditional Championships. Eric is the 2001 and 2005 State AAU Karate Champion at Masters Black Belt Level. Eric has trained numerous champions to victory in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, MMA (Pro & Amatuer), Traditional Karate and Freestyle Karate Events.
